Why the ICARUS?

Using a modified high-flow extrusion system, you are able to have both high-flow and high-detail 3D printing in one extruder. Utilizing a 2.5mm nozzle, most sockets only take one to two hours.

Extrusion System

For accuracy and safety, magnetic linear motion is used on the X and Y axes, delivering smooth, precise, and contact-free movement. The Z axis is driven by a robust ballscrew system for reliable vertical positioning. You won’t find a belt on this machine. All of this, combined with USA-made servo motors from Teknic on all three axes, ensures highly precise and consistent motion performance.

Magnetic Linear Motion

Auto-Calibration

Developed in house, before the start of every print the printer will use the nozzle to auto-calibrate the printer before a single layer is ever laid down on the print bed.
