LINEAR MOTION
For accuracy and safety, high-precision ballscrews are used on the X,Y, and Z axis of the entire machine. You won't find a belt on this machine. All of this, combined with USA Made servo motors from Teknic on all three axis, ensure precise motion movement.

EXTRUSION SYSTEM
Using a modified high-flow extrusion system, you are able to have both high-flow and high-detail 3D printing in one extruder. Utilizing a 2.5mm nozzle, most sockets only take one to two hours.

AUTO-CALIBRATION
Developed in house, before the start of every print the printer will use the nozzle to
auto-calibrate the printer before a single layer is ever laid down on the print bed.

The ICARUS Lite is a compact FDM 3D printer purpose-built for efficient in-house O&P production. Its 305 x 305 x 610 mm build volume is optimized for check sockets, definitive sockets, AFOs, and flexible inners, making it well suited for clinics looking to expand production without a large equipment footprint. Equipped with the high-flow Rabbit extruder, interchangeable 0.8 to 2.5 mm nozzles, temperatures up to 450°C, and automatic bed leveling, the Lite delivers versatile fabrication capabilities in a smaller system. Its connectivity with PROTEOR Print Online Slicer helps create a streamlined path from digital design to production.
